The second season of the Discovery Channel documentary TV series Deadliest Catch introduced fans to the FV Time Bandit and his crew of six, including his captains and brothers, Andy and Johnathan Hillstrand – some of the most interesting faces and most interesting of the show.

From there, we came to see more of Johnathan, a third-generation licensed fisherman who has fun while being a proper captain.

He is the younger brother of Deadliest Catch star Andy Hillstrand.

It was in Homer, Arkansas that Johnathan Hillstrand was born on August 5, 1962, to a father who was also a fisherman and was raised by a father who was also a fisherman.

Since it’s something that has almost always been in the family, Johnathan has kept the family “tradition” of sticking with fishing since he was a kid. He was raised as the second child in a family of five.
